Tort of Electronic Equipment to
Poland
Me moranduLn by the United Kingdomj~elepat ion
The United Kingdom authorities have been asked
to approve the export to Poland of a R.F. Power Meter,
Type T.P. 1152/1. The equipment is covered by the
definition of I.L. Item No. 1529 and its value is
0156. It is stated to be required for the technical
training of students in the University of Warsaw.
2, The export of similar equipment has previously
been approved by the Committee; COCOM DOCUMENTS
3344, 3565 and 3569 refer.
3. A detailed description of this type of Power
meter was given in COCOM Document No. 3344 paragraph (c).
4. Her Majestyrs Government consider that the
present requirement is reasonable and wish to authorise
the export under the special Polish exceptions
procedure. The usual assurances against re-export
would be obtained and they would be grateful for the
views of Member Governments by October 19.
