Memorandum by the United Kingdom Delegation
The United Kingdom authorities have been asked to
approve the export to East Gemany of the following material
included on the Atomic Energy Listo-

2. This material is required by Tochnoconrlers G.m.b.H.,
Friedrichstrausse 110-112, Berlin N.49 D.D.R., and is
stated to be for laboratory work.
3. Her Majesty's Government wish to authorise the export
of this material as an ad hoc exception, as the quantity
involved would, in their view, have no strategic siEnificanc-.
Her Majesty's Government would be grateful for the views
of member governments by October 15.
