Export of Thorium Nitrate to Hungary
Memorandum by the United Kingdom Delegation
The United Kingdom authorities have been asked to
approve the export to Hungary of the following material
included on the Atomic Energy Lists-
A.E. List Weight in Material Value

Nitrate
2. This material is required by Modimpex, P.O.B. 326,
Budapest, 62, and is stated to be for use as a
laboratory chemical.
3. Her Majesty's Government wish Co authorise the
export of this material as an ad hoc exception, as the
quantity involved would, in their view, have no strategic
significance. Her Majesty's Government would be
grateful for the views of member governments by
October 15.
