1. The UNITED STATES Delegate confirmed having informed the
Netherlands Delegate and the Secretariat, on the day following the Committee's
previous meeting, that his authorities had no objection to this export. As he
had already informed his Netherlands colleague, his authorities had nevertheless
- without waking this a condition - requested that the Netherlands authorities
should be urged to seek assurances that the electronic valves would not be
incorporated in radar equip,:ient on board vessels to be exported to the Soviet
Union.
2. The N: ET'HERLI.NDS Delegate thanked his United States colleague.
As he had already pointed out to him, this point had been taken care of, as
indicated in the oriLina). iaeiiora-,nduma. He had nevertheless transmitted the
r1essal;e to his authorities.
3. The CHAIk iaN noted that there had been no objections to the
Netherlands request.
