Trade P:o'tocoi between Denmark and the U.S.S.R
A Protocol covering trade between Denmark and the U.S.S.R.
in the two-year period from.1st June, 1959 tm 31st May, 1961 was
signed in Moscow on 30th May, 1959,
The volume of trade for the two-year period foreseen in
the Protocol is about 41.5 my',13-taxi Danish kroner either way.
The main items to be imported from the U'.S.S.R. are:
Machinery and u;j.. ment,
Coal,
Coke,
Petroleum products,
Asbestos,
Pig iron,
Ferro-alloys,
Chemicals,
Apatite concentrates,
Potash,
Timber,
Oil cakes,
Wheat,
Bread grains,
Consumer goods.
Danish exports to U.S.S.R. will consist of:
4 cargo vessels of 11, 500 tons deadweight each,
4 refrigerators of 1,.500 tons deadweight each,
Marine equipment and spare parts,
Components and parts for marine diesel engines,
Ship repairs,
Machinery and equipment for the chemical industry,
Machinery and equipment for the food industry,
Instruments and q. .ectronic apparatus,
Pharmaceuticals and medical instruments and apparatus,
Butter,
Meat,
Cheese,
Salted Herrings,
Consumer goods.
