The UNITED KINGDOM Delegate referred to the statement made by the
Netherlands Delegate (CGCGM 3552) and said that his authorities agreed that
valves of type E 88 CC were caught by the definition of Item 1558(d)(1). The
United Kingdom licensing authorities also had refused an application for the
export of valves of this typo. The United Kingdom would persist in this
attitude, subject to the possibility of exporting small quantities under the
approved exceptions procedures.
