Present: Denmark, France, Germany.,. Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Turkey,
United Kingdom, United Status.

1. The CHAIPJVIAN drew the attention of the Committee to the German proposal
to export 17,000 capacitors of the Wondol typo to Hungary. He had already
been informed by the Belgian Delegate that the Belgian Government raised no
objection in view of the humanitarian end-Use of this equipment and in view
of the fact that its technical characteristics seemed to preclude any
strategic use. He invited Delegates to give the views of their authorities.
2. The DANISH, FRENCH, JAPANESE, NETHERLANDS and UNITED KINGDOM Delegates
stated that their authorities raised no objection to this export,
3p The ITALIAN and UNITED STATES Delegates were without instructions.
4. The GERMAN Delegate expressed his thanks for the favourable replies
which had been given and stated that he hoped soon to hear the views of the
uninstructed Delegations.
5. The COMMITTEE agreed to hear the views of the Italian and United
States Governments on June 1st.
6. On May 28th the CANADIAN and ITALIAN Delegates informed the Committee
that their authorities had no objection to this export.
