A GERMAN PROPOSAL TO EXPORT RAILWAY SIGNALLING CABLE TO BULCRIA
November 17th, 1959
Present: Belgium (Luxembourg), Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan,
Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States.

The Canadian Delegate informed the Committee that his authorities
remained convinced that the cable in question was covered by Item 1526.
However, in view of the civil end-use, stated in the German memorandum and
the fact that the installation work will be supervised by German engineers,
they wd.11 raise no objection to this export.

pendant, 6tant donne ltutilisation finale civile indiqu6e dans le m6morandun
allemand, et compte tenu du fait que ltinstallation sera effectu6e sous le
contr8le dting6nieurs allemands, elles ne formuleront pas dtobjection a lten-
contre de ltexportation envisag6e.
