The United Kingdom authorities have been asked to
approve the export to Poland of the f oll owin&

2. This computer is reqaired by Varimex for the Nuclear
Research Institute, Swier L near arsatiw, The head of this
Institute, Professor Noracki, who is well known to
iof essor Cockroft of the United Kingdom. Atomic Lnergy
Authority, wants to use the instr'u'ment as a research and
training, simulator.
3. Her i.iajesty's Government Wish to authorise the sale
of this computer to the Institute under the special
Polish exceptions procedure and the usual assurance
against re-export will be obtained. They hope that
views of Member Governments will be available by
December 3.
