1. It is requested that be recommended
for participation in the Institute on Information Storage and
Retrieval, 18-29 January 1960.
2. The matter of the application of some system of information
storage and retrieval is of growing interest end inportance to the
GesgraPhic Research Area which would became an important user of
such a systmm. The installation of such an electronic systeavill
require the reorientation of present GRA information storage and
retrieval 'tactless, and the referenced course will provide the
seeded backgraaad and gemeral knowledge of the capehilities and
limitations of alaatroode date processing systems.
