1. The group was introduced to! zz::J new Training Officer
2. The Deputy Director of Training (DDTR) reported on the status of the
Cadre Paper which involves the transfer of DD/P slots to OM. Still to
be developed are the selection criteria and the related responsibilities
of the Assessment and Evaluation Staff.
3. The Chairman, Clandestine Services Training Committee (C/CSTC), is pre-
paring for submittal the DD/P requirements for all staff training as
projected through 1956. OTR pointed out that in order to be valid,
these requirements should reflect the operational needs which are iden-
tified in project planning.

6. C/CSTC invited OTR representatives to the 1 April meeting of the CSTC.
The agenda will include the long-term schedule, training of administrative
personnel, use of the cumulative training form, and the use of part-time
seminars to supplement formal training.
7. Chief, Basic School, discussed the need to modify the content of portions
of Basic Orientation. To accomplish this effectively, he asked that the
August presentation be omitted if this were agreeable to DD/P. Such
action also will necessitate a change in the starting dates of "ml -+-A

presentations, additional classes will be added whenever minimum require-
ments exist.
