Office of Operations
1. This memorandum suggests action on the part of the DCI*
requested action is contained in paragraph 3.
2, General Comments
a. The Inspector General Staff Survey of the
has been useful in focusing
attention on matters which had escaped detection, in stimu-
lating action on recognized problems, in providing an
impartial endorsement of some earlier ? recommendations,
and in providing a platform for discussion of subjects on
which there is a difference of opinion.
3. The survey report contains a number of recommendations.
Comments on those recommendations are contained in Tabs A - L. It is
suggested that the DCI take the following action:
