SUBJECT: FH13 45-450-2, Detached Station Procedures
1. As a result of comments on the July 1953 Edition of FILE 45-450-1, work
was started by the Supply Division in August 1953-
2. First printed edition (ditto copies) were forwarded for working level
coordination in August 1953-
3. In September 1953, the DDCI approved the field service test of these
proposed procedures until such time as the final approved publication was
disseminated. This final publication was to be the result of the eervice tests
and experience gained by the Logistics Team on their field trip.
4. Based on working level comments, revisions were made and reproduced
(multilith) in October 3-953-
5. Copies furnished Area Divisions in October 1953 for pouching to field
for service tests.
VW 6. Logistics Team---from October 1953 to April 1954--installed procedures
at stations visited in the European area on a service test basis.
7. Logistics Team returned from field trip in April 1954.
3. Based upon service tests and experience gained by the Logistics Teara,
the October 1953 Edition was revised and published as July 1954 Edition.
9. The July 1954 Edition was forwarded for working level coordination on
22 July 1954.

11. Comments, as a result of working level coordination, have been evaluated
and a rough draft of revision was given informally to Regulations Control Staff on
10 December 195+- for format and editorial changes.
12. It is expected that Regulations Control Staff will return the rough draft
by 20 December 1954 and reproduction will be accomplished.
1.3. Anticipate formal forwarding of the printed version to the Regulations
Control Staff on or about 13 January 1955 for formal coordination and publication.
