"Action should be taken by the Chief, Medical Staff, to fill the
two positions of Chief, Special Support Staff, and Chief, Program
Coordination Division, at an early date in order to provide full-time
direction of these units in the field of long-range support planning
and coordination."

CHIEF, MEDICAL STAFF, COMMENTS REGARDING RECONAENDATION NO. 5
The incumbent of the position of Chief, Program Coordination
Division, is expected to enter on duty with the Medical Staff on 13
June 1955. The incumbent for the position of Chief, Special Support
Staff, has not as yet been selected. However, several possibilities
exist including new prospective appointees and a physician returning
from the field with some 4 years overseas experience.
