)`ollowing our conversation of this date I understand that
Baird is preparing a proposal for a modified drift-sight and that this
proposal will specify both toot and delivery time. I further understand
it to be our preliminary decision that we will buy at least enough drift-
sight modifications to equip all aircraft likely to carry the C camera--
this decision contingent on cost and delivery dates being reasonable. I
am still of the view that we may wish to make this modification on all
drift-sights. I hope no time will be lost in getting Baird to work, on a
prototype unless the cost seems to be way out of line,
