1. A Colonel da4y of USAF Beadqua.rters is in charge
of a special Air Force Project which involves among others. the Lockheed
Aircraft Corporation. In that Company, Mr. C. L. Johnson and a few
engineers under his direct supervision are working an the Air Force project.
It appears necessary and desirable that these engineers be made knowledgeable
of certain of the technical developments that have been accomplished in
A i7ATONE since these wilt have application in the new Air Force project.
I. * have the impression that the security problem is not at all
serious. Lockheed has an excellent security record on our own project and
e Project will not, I understand, produce any .results

opts. Sometime ago I promised Colonel Otto that the Project
