Herewith is a proposal that reached me through Dick Leghorn (the "Dick"
toyhom the covering note is addressed is Leghorn). It embodies the thinking
of a group with which he is in contact in California. I feel that it is of no
c-urrent interest since we have made our basic design decisions and supplier
selections for CORONA and have no intention of reconsidering. It may be
valuable, however, to keep in our files the records of the men who are con-
cerned with this proposal.
