SUBJECT : Contract No. AF33(609)_3781.9.
I have held this contract wind have not sought the
Director's signature because in the light of current developments I
25X1A question whether we should obligate for GUSTO this
early in the year. There is but little work in progress at ust now
on GUSTO and it is not clear how much work there will be in the future.
I suggest you discuss this matter with and modify this
contract to obligate a considerably smaller sum as you and he might
decide to be appropriate. I will make an effort to get it approved
promptly upon my return.
