SUBJECT : Project CORONA

1. On S August I was asked by aXr1 to join a meeting
in his office which also included Mr. and General
25X1A Goodpaster. The discussion concerned for the most part the ARPA/
Air Force Project but at the same time the current financial
status of CORONA was reviewed. It was agreed that I would prepare
a memorandum outlining and explaining changes in the estimate of the
cost of this Project since it was originally approved.
2. I have now prepared this paper and attach a copy herewith.
All of the figures and explanations therein contained were reviewed
at the meeting referred to above but I believe Mriay wish to 25X1A
see the paper that resulted from that discussion. I would appreciate
any comments he or you may care to make.
