1. 1 have read the retarences with interest. I would like to learn
more of the flight tests that are being undertaken to investigate high altitude,
high speed handling characteristics. In the meanwhile I wonder if we should
not send the substance of the DOD message to our two Detachment Commanders
for their information, perhaps on an "'Eyes Only" basis.
