branch-initiated report contain the branch designation and the name
of the chief analyst concerned.
Your idea has been carefully considered by the appropriate
officers of the Agency who have recommended non-adoption, The Office
of the DD/I has evaluated your suggestion from all aspects and a
copy of their evaluation is attached for your information.
We hope that the evaluation attached and your talk with the
Deputy Chief, Economic Area, tilt, will be substantial reason for
the turndown.
Because your idea did not bring about an award it will not be
further processed. It is the desire of the Co .ttee, however, to
express its appreciation of the interest you have shown. in your sug-
