: Maintenance Handbooks, Project "A" Equipment
1 Under the terms of our current contract with
the contractor is required to
deliver a rinki repor, operations manuals and mainten-
ance manuals covering the work performed under the con-
tract and the operation and maintenance of the equipment
delivered thereunder. The contractor has delivered all of
the above reports to this agency; however, because of
security reasons the final report in operations manuals
must be reviewed for proper security classification, since
distribution may be made to unwitting and/or partially
cleared people. It is expected that this review will be
completed by 24 September 1963 at which time the report
and operations manuals will be distributed.
2. The maintenance manuals which cover repair and
routine maintenance of the equipment are unclassified
and, accordingly, I an forwarding herewith two copies
each of the following manuals:
THE DOT MATRIX READER I (26T) AND THE DOT MATRIX
READER II two copies each - total 4 copies
THE GROUND PHOTO MATCHER two copies
THE POINT COORDINATE READER two copies
RANDOM ACCESS FILE two copies
AUTOMATED SEG V RECTIFER two copies
THE CHIP ALIGNMENT & FIXTURE & CHIPPER NO. I &
CHIPPER NO. II - two copies each - total 4 copies
COORDINATE READOUT MATCHER two copies
TRANSFORMING PRINTER two copies

3. These manuals constitute delivery under the
contract and, as such, should be revised and acceptance
made by your office. I would appreciate receiving your
comments and/or approval upon completion of your review
In order that formal acceptance may be granted to the
contractor.
