1. Attached hereto are tw.) letters written by Mr. H. W.
Paige, General Manager, General Electric Missile and Space
Vehicle smut. One is dated 15 April 1959, and addressed
to Brigadier feral 0. J. Ritland; the other is dated 28 April
19D, a addressed to Colonel R. D. Curtin, Aiii . loth of
these letters vere forwarded to this Headqgarters by Colonel Sheppard.
2. 1 have reviewed these letters and wish to advise that
Mr. Paige definitely violated security in his letter of 15 April
to General Ritland therein he associated various photographic
components to the curet Thor-boosted progreem.. It is my
reecoesnendation that Mr. Paige be asked to aome to Project Head-
ere for a neeting either with you or Mrs Bissell. you vill
note from his letters he is some at unhaMy about the relation-
ship of (M to AMM. It is my fading that he should be given
the opportunity to discuss his dings in person; a at the
saw time, he should be severely reprimanded for his violation
of - N A security. Follow your discussion with Mr. Paige
I )uld like the opportunity of reviewing with his the Security
implications of these letters within his qty.
