the hew CIA. headquarters installation, I am forwarding for
your information the attached exchange of correspondence
with Mr. Harland Bartholomew, Chairman of the National
w: pital Manning com=ission.
You will note that the letter from. Mr. Bartholomew
encloses the final report by a Committee of the Commission
on the proposed Langley site for our installation. With the
receipt of this report, approved by the Commission, we are
in a position to proceed with our plans and preliminary work
in accordance with authorizing legislation and appropriations
approved by the Congress.
I appreciate your continuing interest in this matter and
undertake to keep you informed of further developments.
