Subject: Contract HF-B-S111H
Under the subject contract you purchased eight (8) Mark III Hand
Controls (BA-DS130E-1). On April 8 we shipped you two, on
April 19 four
,,and on April 29 ten totall,ig sixteen$ the last shipment
.STATINTL of ten you forwarded to We then discovered our mistake
of putting the wrong mode switch in the handle, and on May 12,
we received from you three Mark III Hand Controls, leaving you with
three in your system which presumably had left your depot.
In one of our conversations, it was established that it was an easy
field modification and that you would probably have. these three fixed
in the field.
,On May 13, we shipped you five Mark III Hand Controls with the
correct mode switch. This means that you have now received a'
total of eight which fulfills our obligation under the subject contract.
However, I feel that if we do not modify the three handles which you
have in the field we owe you the switches themselves to perform
the modification. Therefore I wish you would advise me if you would
prefer me to ship the three switches to you under this contract number
or whether you intend to return any of the three not modified to us.
I am sorry to have caused you all this inconvenience.
