PROCEDURE MEMORANDUM NO. 5
Subject: Duties of Policy and Review Branch
1. The responsibilities of the Policy and Review Branch will include
the following:
a, The Branch will review summaries and estimates disseminated
by the Central Reports Staff, and when appropriate, will submit com-
ments and recommendations to the Chief of the Planning Staff.
b. The Branch will develop and maintain a reference file of
background information and publications needed by the Central
Planning Staff, such as basic Field Manuals, Army Regulations, Bureau
Manuals, studies of intelligence organiRation, etc.
