and seven Information Recorders. The Contractor was to
deliver these units by 23 November. Work was started
immediately to modify and overhaul System 3's, Serials 4
and 9, to bring them up to an MP-11048MD1 configuration
in accordance with the proposed System 3 IRAN Program.
(Ref. Proposed System 3 IRAN Program, paragraph A.1.a).
All modifications contained in the MP- i i 048MD1 configuration
were accomplished except for the rework of the 04 Boards
(MP-11036). Lack of time prevented the 04 Boards from
being brought up to the MDi configuration. Therefore,
'System 3, Serials 4 and 9, were not sent out as MD1
configurations.
Seven Information Recorders were also reworked during
November. All seven units were brought up to an MP-12570MD1
configuration. Prior to the MD1 modification, Serial 737 was
changed from an MP-10737 to an MP-12570 configuration.
(Ref. Information Recorder Modification, paragraph A.1.6).
These are the serial numbers of the seven Information
Recorders brought up to the MP-12570MD1 configuration: 703,
711 , 733, 737, 760, 768 and 812.
The two System 3's and seven Information Recorders
were shipped to the Customer A Depot on 23 November.
The Contractor will modify six 04 Boards (MP- 11036) and
ship them to the Depot for specific use in System 3, Serials 4
and 9. MD1 decals will be sent to the detachment using these
systems. Incorporation of the modified 04 Boards in System 3,
Serials 4 and 9, and attachment of the MDi decals will bring
these systems up to a System 3 MP-11048MD1 configuration.
C. Call Contract Procurement
The Repair and Retrofit Laboratory is now manufacturing
