MEMORANDUM FOR: SEE DISTRIBUTION
SUBJECT: Administrative Arrangements for the Agreement; for Cooperation
for Mutual Defense Purposes with the Government of Italy
1. Reference is made to Section 1, Paragraph C.4, JAIEG Detailed
Operating Procedures, dated 25 September 1961.
2. Attached'as inclosures are copies of the Administrative Arrange-
ments pertaining to the exchange of atomic information with the Government
of Italy. These Administrative Arrangements are now in effect.
3. It is expected that these Administrative Arrangements will be
used in conjunction with the JAIEG Detailed Operating Procedures. All
agencies proposing the communication of atomic information or planning
a visit to or with representatives of the Government of Italy in which
atomic information will be exchanged should be familiar with'the require-
ments of these Administrative Arrangements in addition to those require-
ments-contained in,the JAIEG Detailed Operating Procedures.
