1. Advised by Sam Scott, Senate
Internal Security Subcommittee staff, that in the absence of a call back
from Senator Dodd, only a tentative date for a hearing, possibly during
the week of 25 November, can be established at this time.
2. Called Chairman Carl Vinson,
House Armed Se rvice s C om mittee, at his home and advised that the
matter on which he had briefed the Chairman six weeks ago has been,
called off due to the present situation existing with regard to the parties
to the negotiation.
