Talked with Mr. Frank Bartimo, Assistant General Counsel, Man Power, DOD, concerning his briefing of the Joint Committee on Atomic Energy staff on Saturday on the results of Defense's investigation of the leak Bartimo said he had a three-hour session with the Committee staff and felt fairly certain that they were now satisfied with Defense's action on this. He said the Committee staff had mentioned that they were aware of the language contained in the nuclear testing section of SNIE 11-14-61. 25X1 8.
