I truly regret your leaving your present assignment.
Certainly over the years of our association you have been of
tremendous assistance to the Agency and to me personally.
It is hoped that in some small way the Agency has reciprocated.
On the brighter side, however. it was with great
pleasure that I learned of your designation as Ambassador to
Jordan. At least the Government has not lost the benefit of
your services.
My heartiest congratulations and beat wishes in your
new assignment.
