In 1950 a Soviet "MVD" officers was reported as being in charge of an
espionage school which was located on the farm of a Rumanian CP member, one
NICOLAU,which was hi Suagnov outside of Bucharest. Further details concerning
tr4s school are not known,EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT A NIECE of ZABETIS, a well
known Greek Commmnist was reported as having attended the school, and subsequently
to have been sent to London as an adviser to the Rumanian Embassy there.
In 1949 a so called "Desinform" school was reported in Contanta for the
training of agents for work in Palestine. Further details concerning this
school, including possible Seve-~u~e~~eea direction one of the Soviet
Intelli ence ageneies,havenot been developed to date. _r- , tE
