Dear Mr. Duttont
As I believe you know, the Director recently appeared
before the House Foreign Affairs Committee In executive session
to brief that Committee on Cuba. During the question period,
Mrs. Bolton brought up the subject of possible Communist
propaganda flooding Latin American countries through Panama.
She then discussed the status of U. S. laws which would permit
the confiscation and destruction of this material in the United
States. An excerpt from the transcript including this discussion
is enclosed.
