SUBJECT: Amendments to S. 920, a Bill to Amend the Communications
Act of 1934, as Amended.
1. Mr. Roy Coffin, of the Bureau of the Budget, who is
coordination of Agency views on 3. 920, called this
o advise me that on the basis of recommendations received

Provided, that when an application for authorisation is
received by the Commission it shall nvtf the appropriate

shall forthwith furnish to the Commission such information

may then be granted unless the Commission shall determine
that information received from such agencies necessitates

Commission's letter to the Commerce Committee on this bill was
being changed to include a final sentence which would read a
