1. (Internal Use Only .. JSW) Talked with Russ Blandford,
House Armed Services Committee, who gave as his view and that of
the members he talked with that yesterday's meeting was most
interesting and informative. He indicated that after Mr. Helms
had talked to the Chairman about thel letter, the Chairman
had asked Mr. Blandford to simply hold the matter to see if it is
raised again. At that time decision will be made as to an appropriate
letter.
