MEMORANDUM FOR: Director of Personnel
SUBJECT: Increase in Strength Authorizations for
the Office of Special Activities
1. The following is extracted from a memorandum dated
18 June 1963 from the Comptroller to the Deputy Director of
Central Intelligence and approved by the Executive Director
on 19 June 1963: It is recommended that: 25X1A9b
"GSA. be authorized an increase of M positions 25X1A9b
25X1A9b over the current personnel ceiling of _
"The increase of - be provided through a reduction
and transfer of impositions from the Office of
25X1A9b Research and Development, DD/R to OSA; by the pro-
vision of positions already programed in the FY
25X1A9b 1964 budge or OSA; and by a net increase in the
Agency ceiling of . positions for assignment to OSA..r
