The purpose of this memorandum is to request your presence at the annual OSI Christmas Awards Program on 20 December at 0900 hours in the auditorium. 2. You will recall that you and con- ducted this program last year. You spo a on a progress the Office had made through the year, the key intelli- gence problems before us and our means to solve them, and what lay ahead. Your talk was followed by the OSI awards presentation by We plan a similar program this year. 3. I will follow the same general format, but we would be very pleased if you, and possibly General Carter, would say a few words. It has been a hectic, but reward- ing year; one in which you have played the key role in OSI developments. Your presence and comments would be most appreciated. If you believe that General Carter could attend, would you please make the invitation. 4. If you can attend, I will set aside about five to ten minutes for you if this is acceptable. If General Carter can make it, I would expect that his. remarks would be brief and plan accordingly. The pro- gram will last one hour and we can schedule you in and out as your calendar permits.
