Approved For Release-001/11/01 : CIA-RDP66B0056OR000100 Officer of the Commander ! fp2 7 -R"-On a di 4; 55iEJTL5 lJivisicrn Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio 30 August 63 Dr. A. N. Whelon 2430 "E" Street, N. W. Washington, D. C. It was just last Sunday evening that I found out that you were no longer with STL but were occupying a key position in CIA. Congratulations ! Today is my last working day with the Air Force, as I am retiring and leaving WPAFB tomorrow morning. There are many, many reasons for my decision which I will be happy to give to you face to face when you have the time. Starting the first of September I will be working for Kip Siegel, President of Conductron Corporation, 343 So. Main St. , Ann Arbor, Michigan. Today I am also being debriefed in the SSO and SPO areas. If you ever have need for advice or consultation in these areas, and I believe the attached resume will refresh your memory as to my ex- perience, I can be reindoctrinated. However, if there is a greater lapse of time than 90 days a new investigation has to be run which considerably delays things. I am anxious to continue to be of what- ever service I can to my country. Looking forward to seeing you in Washington. Sincerely BARTON S. PULLING Colonel, USAF Deputy Commander Research & Engineering Approved For Release 2001/11/01: CIA-RDP66BOO56OR000100120070-5
