1. Mission C335C, flown 27 May 1965, covered targets
in South China, penetrating the mainland near Canton and
.exiting in the vicinity of Swatow, The targets covered by
this. mission, and C325C, are shown in the attachment. The
weather was Unusually good enroute, as a result of Typhoon
AMY, which was passing off the east coast of China at the
time,
2.. The pilot reported seeing occasional con-trails
while over the mainland, but stated he did not see any
attempted intercepts on this mission. The con-trails were,
assumed to be fighters.
3. The mission was 1,963 nautical miles in length and
lasted 4 hours and 42 minutes. The TJ-2 was over the Red
China mainland for 2 hours . and 21 minutes.
4, Mission C325C was flown on 28 Ma 1965 to cover
targets'along the coast opposite Taiwan.

5. The pilot reported no unusual events'or intercept '
attempts sighted,,, The mission was relatively short ' and was
over Communist China for one hour and nine minutes,
