I understand that the equipment arrived i.n ood shape at PaSTATINTL
Alto but based on conversations with I learned that
there are certain problems in connection with the operation of it.
STATINTL tells me that certain corrective action is needed which
understand will be taken care of within approximately three weeks
when some of your technical people return to Palo Alto.
Under the circumstances, since it does not appear that the
equipment is fully operational (at least insofar as that portion of
it which is intended to be operational), I will hold the DD-250
form here in my office. I will sign it and send it to you just as
soon as I get an indication from our technical representative that
the equipment is fully acceptable.

Enclosed are two copies of a DD250 form prepared to cover
the equipment supplied in accordance with Item 8.1 of the
Work Statement.
Paragraph II of the contract indicates that delivery of the
equipment will be at Palo Alto, California. Therefore, it
seemed advisable that I have in my files a record of the
buyer's acceptance. This can be accomplished by your
signing blank "B" of the DD250 and returning one copy to
me.
