I assume you know that xpects to be here on
January 19 to witness tests of the equipment. Present plans
are to ship the equipment on February 3 in accordance with
whatever instructions you give us, as requested in my letter
of December 18. We also are planning to have two people go
to California on February 8 to set up the equipment and get
it working.
At this time I believe it would be desirable to raise the
funding coverage to the contract figure and remove the limita-
tion of the date. As you can see, during the next four weeks
there will be considerable activity and the contract should be
complete by the middle of March.
Incidentally, the estimated cost and fee on the contract has
not been increased for the range cursor work and the engineering
service at Palo Alto.
Very truly yours,
STATINTL

Enclosed are two copies of the contract cost analysis report
covering expenditures and commitments for the period ending Nov. 22.
In view of the fact that the report indicates our expenditures an8TATINTL
commitments will be approximately 0 at the end of this year,
we will need additional coverage. I would suggest that the funding
STATINTL be increased to 0 for the period through January 15, 1965.
Very truly yours,
