1. on 5 April 19639 -tr . Stewart Alsap called me to
state that he is writing as article on Mr. McCone and the
new organization in CIA. He didn't wish any secrets but
just views on how the new organisation worked.
2. I replied that I didn't feel that I was in a position
to comment publicly on the workings of the new organization,
and that my present job involved classified matters which were
not suitable subjects for discussion. My position was to try
and develop techniques in which science could assist intelligence
processes. Sr. Alsop then indicated that probably there wasn't
much I could give him of value, but that he might call so again
later.
