Subject: Weekly Report - Week ending January 2I.,. 1947.
1. Coordinated Exploitation of Enemy Document Repositories.
Proposed corrimittee report to IAB has been circulated to a
members with request that their actions be expedited. No
answers yet.
I. Projects carried over fruit previous week:
2. Intelligence Terminology. Still awaiting JIC approval of
joint memorandum to JIC and DCI before attempt-
ing implementation with JIS.
3. Coordination of Foreign Port Data. No req deceived yet.
L. Rosenberg Libra Collection.. informed me
three copies of a dab le receive from USFET were being sent to
'CIG as well as G-2 formal answer to our memorandum on subject.
In brief, understood the collection could not be returned to
U.S. because terms of Potsdam agreement and MG regulations re-
quired return to rightful owners. The collection has been
screened and intelligence thereon disseminated, 80 per cent of
collection on cultural subjects.
