of Projects Continuing Uncompleted.
1. Washington Document Center. Memo sent to Secretary Navy
requesting that necessary noreases in Navy personnel allowances to
CIG be authorized to permit CIG to continue operation of the Center
until 1 July 1947. This memo had as enclosure D of NI letter
itemizing the Navy personnel situation in detail. who 25X1A
will administer the Center, approved our memo. 25X1A
2. Deputy Assistant Director for R&E. finally
is the to arrive in Wins iin on 22 o o er. I plan to see him Wednesday
to ask him to visit CIG and talk to 25X1A
3. SWNCC Security Advisory Board. No progress reported.
4. I.L.O. Intelligence Reports. Memo sent to ORE and OCD
suggesting the latter in conjunction with former establish liaison
with State for purpose of acquiring such documents on subject as is
required. Enclosed with memo an advance copy of State's bibliography
of documents pertaining to subject.
5. ONI Pro osal on Static Intelli nce. Sent out 25X1A
proposed draft
report to committee meet ers, and by telephone gave out
suggested addition with request that it be considered in the member's reply.
ONI's re 1 now in mail, other answers may be expected shortly except
who gave his in subsequent telephone message.
