NM(ORANDUM FOR ICAPS
Subject: ICAPS Papers
1. It is the Director's expressed desire that ICAPS papers
dealing with matters of interdepartmental coordination., planning,
and policy go direct to his Office and not through the Office of
the Executive Director.
2.. All ICAPS papers dealing with internal CIG coordination'
planning., and policy will be channeled through the Office of the
Executive Director.
3. To insure the proper implementation of the above policy.,
great care must henceforth be taken in marking interoffice routing
slips attached to papers destined for the Director's attention to
insure that those of an interdepartmental nature are marked for the
Director and that those of an internal nature are marked forhe
Director andotYe Executive Director.
4. So that the Executive Director may be kept constantly
current on the plans and activities of CIG, copies will be made of
all documents falling in the category of paragraph 1 and marked for
the information of the Executive Director.
