There has been no important change in the Intelligence Flan during
April. Annex "C'~ below showing the status of Staff Intelligence includes
such changes as were made during the month. _
II. Intelligence Production.
1. Curren. ~ntelli~ence.
Ise additi~t to the regular L#aily and Ws~ekly Suman,aries, one report
of the CIA Series and one special Evaluation were published. A list of
the topics covered. in the Meekly Suniccaary is appended :xs Annex "A.s~3
A .review of the list indicates that the Western E~aropear- and Far East/
~'acific Branches continued to carry the heaviest burdens in the produc-
tion of cu~crent intelligence for the Weekly Suanx~aary.
A review of the iteffis in the Daily Summary indicates that the
Western Europeaxa axed Near East/African ]Branches ear:ried the heaviest
burden of g~roduction for that publication.
