Intelligence for Use of the Army-Navy Munitions Board
The data requested by the Army-Navy Munitions Board appears
to be matter that is normally. collected and should be available
in the files of the State, War and Navy Departments,and it seems
probable that much of this material should be already available
in their respect Departments to the Army-Navy Munitions Board.
The topics listed, however, appear to form an excellent outline
for the collecting of economic intelligence and it might be well for
CIG (ORB) to undertake a survey of the data available in the regular
departments and in CIG on the topics listed with a view to furnishing
such information immediately to the Army-Navy Munitions Board through
OCD.
Additional intelligence on the topics listed should be forwarded
by ORE to the Army-Navy Munitions Board when and as received.
The foregoing is by way of suggestion in the preparation of reply.
