requesting information about polygraph interviews of
military personnel, attached are:
a. A factual summary of our total
polygraph practice for General Carter,
b. A memorandum to the Director
describing use of the polygraph in connection
with the assignment of military personnel
to the Agency, and
c. A proposed letter from Mr. McCone
to the Secretary of Defense recommending a
polygraph interview for all people assigned
to joint activities with CIA.
