: Comments on Draft tegulation 50-200
2. Paragraph 9 of draft regulation 50-200 would have the
effect of an implementing regplation for DCI memorandum dated 30
April 1953. The provisions of this memorandum create an adrnnin-
istrative burden believed to be unwarranted and an attempt is
being made to have it mended. The attached staff study has been
approved by all concerned on the DD/I side and is currently being
circulated in DD/Panel the Office of Security. It is recommended
that R 50-200 be held pending clarification of this factor.
