25X1 1. Left with William Darden, Senate
Armed Services Committee staff, Senator Symington's letters to Senators

that the Director had talked with Senator Richard Russell last week asking
if the Agency could be of any assistance by bringing him up to date on the

early this week and appeared, possibly, to be interested in a briefing. The
Director had asked that we follow up with Darden stating the Director would

talk to the Senator later in the day and would mention this to him and would
let us know if he plans to be in Washington this week.
